The relocation of former Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to the newly restored Lachin district is progressing in adherence to the directives of President Ilham Aliyev.
In line with this ongoing effort, an additional cohort of residents, previously subjected to temporary resettlement in hostels, sanatoriums, children's camps, and various incomplete administrative structures spread across different regions of the country, has initiated their journey from the Gobu Park 3 residential complex in the Garadagh district of Baku to the Lachin district, Caliber.Az reports.
At this particular juncture, the return includes four families (comprising 11 individuals) to Zabukh village and 20 families (totalling 78 individuals) to Lachin city.
A total of 451 families, comprising 1,705 individuals, have secured permanent residence in Lachin city, while 211 families, totalling 808 individuals, have done the same in Zabukh village.
This ongoing initiative reflects a concerted effort to restore normalcy and facilitate the return of displaced communities to their homes in the reinvigorated Lachin district.
