Lithuania summons Russian envoy after embassy incident in Moscow
Lithuania has expressed an official protest to the representative of the Russian Federation in connection with the incident with the embassy in Moscow.
"Early Monday morning, four unknown masked men smeared the entrance to the Lithuanian Embassy in Moscow with red paint. In this connection, a representative of the Russian embassy in Lithuania was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to hand over a protest note," Caliber.Az reports, citing the Foreign Ministry of the Baltic republic.
Two entrances to the building of the Lithuanian Embassy in the Russian Federation in Moscow's Borisoglebsky Lane in Moscow were covered with red paint, and red palm prints were left on the sign on the wall of the diplomatic mission.
At the same time, the situation near the embassy building is calm and police officers are on duty.
Moreover, near the building, there is still a photo exhibition entitled "The Nuremberg Trials. A View from Moscow".
