Minister: Armenia, Croatia, Estonia to buy Caesar howitzers from France
French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu has said that Armenia, Croatia and Estonia will purchase 60 Caesar self-propelled howitzers from France.
Several French partners ordered 336 howitzers. France is able to increase the weapons production thanks to the new purchase contracts, Caliber.Az reports citing Lecornu’s message on X.

France has signed a contract to sell CAESAR self-propelled howitzers to Armenia as Yerevan deepens military ties with the West and moves away from its traditional ally Russia.
The contract was signed by Lecornu during a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan.
France has a large Armenian diaspora, and is traditionally one of Yerevan's strongest European backers.
