Minister: Azerbaijan developing concept of Garabagh University
Azerbaijani Science and Education Minister Emin Amrullayev has said that the concept of a Garabagh University is being developed, which is planned to be built in liberated Aghdam.
He made the remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of the VIII International Conference on Medical Education in Baku, Report informs.
The minister noted that a new higher education institution, which will be called Garabagh University, is planned to be built in Aghdam.
“We would like this university to provide training in medical specialities. We are ready to cooperate in this direction,” he said.
Meanwhile, Baku is hosting the opening ceremony of the VIII International Conference on Medical Education.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Health, the Azerbaijan Medical University and the Pakistani Rif International University, is attended by specialists in the field of medical education from more than 20 countries.
The conference, which will last until October 10, will feature presentations by more than 30 well-known world experts. Best approaches and practices to medical education will also be reviewed.
The International Conference on Medical Education is being held in Azerbaijan for the first time. In previous years, the prestigious event was organized in the UAE, Mauritius, Türkiye, Canada and Pakistan.
