More than 26,000 babies born in Ukraine during war

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, 24,800 marriages have been concluded and more than 26,000 babies have been born," Korrespondent.net reports with the reference to Ukraine's Ministry of Justice. 

Wedding ceremonies at this time take place without grand celebrations, there are usually only close relatives and friends among the guests, sometimes registration takes place without guests at all.

Due to the hostilities, the Ministry of Justice has no data from Balakleya, Velikoburluk, Volchansk, Izyum, Kupyansk and Shevchenko offices of civil registration in the Kharkiv region.

As for the newborns, most of the babies were born in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Vinnitsa, Transcarpathia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

It should be noted that parents in Ukraine began to name their children in honor of the weapons used by the AFU to destroy the Russian occupiers. 

Two families named their newborns Jan Javelin and Javelina.
