Moscow vows adequate response to Russian diplomat's expulsion from Romania

Russia will respond adequately to the expulsion of its diplomat from Romania under a "far-fetched" pretext.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova made the remarks in a statement published on the ministry's website, Caliber.Az reports.

"In Romania, the offensive against the Russian diplomatic presence in this country continues. The other day, another employee of our embassy in Bucharest was declared persona non grata - as usual without grounds, under far-fetched pretexts. Of course, we will respond adequately to the Romanian demarche, we will inform you about the measures taken additionally," she said.
