Russian PM cuts Kyrgyzstan meeting short ahead of Trump-Putin summit Video
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin cut short his attendance at the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) intergovernmental council meeting in Kyrgyzstan on August 15.
Mishustin cited the need to return to Russia ahead of a scheduled summit in Alaska later today between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, Caliber.Az reports.
The meeting in Kyrgyzstan brought together the heads of government from the five EAEU member states—Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan—to discuss key regional economic issues.
Agenda items included trade and customs administration, the development of transport infrastructure, the creation of unified oil and gas markets, and the expansion of pharmaceutical and medical device markets.
