NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg called for preparations for increased Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure this winter.
Caliber.Az reports with reference to a statement by NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg during a press conference ahead of a meeting of the foreign ministers of the alliance countries in Brussels.
“We will, of course, consider the situation in Ukraine. We see intense fighting along the front line. And we see waves of drone strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. And we need to prepare for more attacks against Ukrainian cities. Therefore, it is very important that NATO member countries continue to support Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said.
According to him, member countries are expected to reaffirm their unwavering support for Ukraine at the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, where Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will be present.
