Nearly 100 planes deliver humanitarian supplies for Gazans to El Arish

Nearly 100 cargo planes with humanitarian aid for the residents of the Gaza Strip have landed so far at the airport of the Egyptian city of El-Arish, located in the north of the Sinai Peninsula.

"As many as 96 planes arrived at El-Arish airport, delivering humanitarian supplies for the Gaz population," said Khaled Zayed, the head of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society branch in North Sinai province, TASS reports, citing the Sada al-Balad news portal.

Zayed specified that the planes carrying aid for the Palestinians were sent by 28 states and 13 regional and international organisations.
