Currently, 46 families (177 people) are returning to Khojavand, while 19 families (89 people) are relocating to Khanabad, Caliber.Az report per local media

These individuals had previously been temporarily housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, children’s camps, and unfinished or administrative buildings.

Following the decisive victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War under President Ilham Aliyev, former displaced residents now have the opportunity to return voluntarily, safely, and with dignity after 30 years.

Residents expressed gratitude to the head of state and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state support and thanked the Azerbaijani Army for liberating the lands, honouring the memory of martyrs who gave their lives for this cause.
