NGOs condemn France's anti-Azerbaijan activities
Azerbaijani non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have issued a statement against the actions of France, which contradicts the norms and principles of international law.
NGO representatives criticized the open racist, Azerbaijanophobic, Turkophobic and Islamophobic activities of the French Senate and the National Assembly, as well as some political circles of the country, continuing for many years and exacerbated in recent years, Report informs.
The NGOs issued a statement in protest against the increasingly biased and dishonest actions against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
"The Senate of the French Republic, the National Assembly, as well as a number of political circles in this country have at various times made blatantly racist, Islamophobic, Turkophobic and Azerbaijanophobic statements. They ignored the fact that representatives of radical Armenian communities attacked representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora and the Azerbaijani embassy in France. France's relevant structures failed to take the necessary measures to prevent these criminal attacks containing elements of vandalism and terrorism, and thus encouraged the dangerous actions of the Armenian community," the statement reads.
