No exact date available yet on Russian president’s visit to Türkiye
Ankara and Moscow will announce the timing of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit when it comes.
Turkish ambassador to Russia Tanju Bilgic told TASS.
“You need to proceed from the statements of the press secretary [of the Russian president], you also need to follow the statements from Türkiye. When the time comes, we will make an announcement,” the ambassador said.
A TASS diplomatic source reported that Ankara plans to discuss the construction of a gas hub and discounts on Russian gas. Possible topics also include problems with settlements through Turkish banks that Russian companies have encountered. According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the situation in Syria and Palestine, the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant and the Black Sea grain corridor will also be discussed.
