North Korean leader’s sister calls South Korean president puppet
Kim Yo-jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has mocked South Korea for its unwillingness to address the North's claims regarding a drone incursion over its capital earlier this month.
Kim expressed curiosity about how Seoul would react if an unidentified drone were to fly over the South Korean capital, distributing leaflets that criticise President Yoon Suk Yeol, and if North Korea subsequently declined to acknowledge the incident, claiming it was not worth responding to, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The sarcastic comments allude to statements made by the South Korean military, which stated that it cannot verify whether a drone from the South flew over Pyongyang earlier this month and deemed North Korea's accusation as unworthy of a response.
On October 19, North Korea asserted that it had discovered debris from a South Korean drone in its capital and published images of the purported wreckage.
