Official: Azerbaijan's valiant army forced Armenia to withdraw its troops from Garabagh

The valiant Armed Forces of Azerbaijan have fulfilled Armenia's obligation to withdraw its troops from Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov, representative of the Azerbaijani President for special assignments, made the above statement on air to BBC World News, Report informs.

He stressed that the agreement reached earlier on the disbanding and disarmament of the illegal Armenian military contingent in the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan will serve as an important impetus for the further advancement of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, the September 21 meeting in Yevlakh will initiate the peaceful reintegration of the Armenian population of the Garabagh region into the legal framework of Azerbaijan.
