Official: Azerbaijan transports about 43 billion cubic metres of gas via TANAP, TAP
Advisor to the Azerbaijani energy minister Zamina Aliyeva has said that so far, about 43 billion cubic metres of gas have been supplied to Türkiye and Europe through the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) gas pipelines.
Aliyeva made these remarks at the panel session on “Consequences of the new order. Is the politicised energy crisis a harbinger of change?” during the 26th Eurasian Economic Summit organised by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation in Istanbul, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
She noted that today Azerbaijan is a country that diversifies the supply of its energy resources and contributes to Europe’s energy security.
“Azerbaijan has successfully fulfilled its short-term mission in a critical period thanks to the Southern Gas Corridor, which is the achievement of an energy union with Türkiye,” Aliyeva said.
