One dead, one injured as a result of landmine blasts in Azerbaijan's Tartar Investigation underway
The Tartar district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into the death of a resident of the district, Jaguar Khadiyev, as a result of a mine explosion.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office informed about it in response to the Report's enquiry.
The agency recalled that on October 6 at about 17:00 on the territory of Hasangaya village of Tartar district, liberated from occupation, citizen Yaguar Khadiyev, born in 1989, hit the anti-personnel mine.
The General Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case.
It should be noted that Yaguar Khadyev suffered a mine explosion near the village of Chayli in Tartar district on March 9, 2023.
The man was injured and hospitalised, his left leg was amputated.
On October 6, at around 20:30, the police received information that a local resident Zameddin Hasanli, born in 1986, had stepped on a mine in Hasangaya village of Tartar district.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Report that Hasanli suffered a leg injury.
The victim was immediately hospitalised.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
