Over 13,000 landmines found in Azerbaijan's liberated lands in two months Statement by MoD

Anar Eyvazov, the chief spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, has said that more than 10,000 anti-personnel mines and over 3,000 anti-tank mines were found in the liberated territories following anti-terrorist measures conducted on September 19-20.  

Eyvazov made the remarks at a joint briefing of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and Interior Ministry on November 20, Report informs.

"Armenia targeted not only the military but also the civilian infrastructure of Azerbaijan and the civilian population. More than 10,000 anti-personnel and more than 3,000 anti-tank mines were found in the liberated territories. Drones were among the weapons found," he reported.
