Pakistan slams Taliban for exporting terrorism, violating women’s rights “Taliban turned Afghanistan into an Indian colony”
Following the recent escalation, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif accused the Taliban of turning Afghanistan into “an Indian colony,” exporting terrorism, violating human rights, and depriving women of rights guaranteed under Islam.
In a post on X, the minister claimed that following NATO’s troop withdrawal, peace was expected in Afghanistan, with the Taliban focusing on the welfare of the Afghan people and regional stability, but he emphasised that the situation has drastically changed.

Asif stressed that Pakistan had made every effort to maintain stability, including extensive diplomacy and mediation through friendly countries, but the Taliban had become “a proxy for India.”
He warned that Pakistan’s patience has run out: “Now, this is open war. Now, it will be relentless. Pakistan’s army has not come from across the seas; we are your neighbors and we know your limits. Allahu Akbar.”
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar also reported that Operation “Ghazab-lil-Haqq” began on February 27, 2026, at 3:40 a.m. According to Tarar, strikes on Taliban targets in Kabul, Paktika, and Kandahar killed 133 militants and wounded over 200.
