Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States appreciates liberation of Lachin, Zabukh, Sus by Azerbaijan

The Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) has issued a statement on Azerbaijan’s regaining control over Lachin city, Zabukh and Sus villages.

The TURKPA secretariat highly appreciated the liberation of Lachin city, Zabukh and Sus villages by Azerbaijan as part of the ongoing process in accordance with the provisions of the tripartite statement signed by Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 10, 2020, Report informs.

TURKPA reaffirmed its commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, expressed support for the efforts to normalise relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and voiced its confidence that this process will contribute to the achievement of lasting peace, stability and sustainable development in the South Caucasus.
