EU, Azerbaijan to continue high-level transport dialogue, envoy says

The European Union and Azerbaijan plan to continue their discussions within the framework of the high-level transport dialogue in the near future, according to EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marijana Kujundžić.

Speaking at the business forum "Central Baltic – Azerbaijan," Kujundžić noted that the most recent round of the High-Level Transport Dialogue took place in Brussels about two weeks ago,k Caliber.Az reports per local media.

She added that the EU and Azerbaijan are currently analysing the outcomes of that meeting and hope to resume discussions within the same framework later this year.

The ambassador also emphasised that the European Union welcomes the recent peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highlighting the positive developments in bilateral relations that are contributing to the normalisation of the regional situation.

Regarding cooperation in the field of demining, Kujundžić said that discussions on future projects are ongoing, although the final funding amount for 2026 has not yet been finalised.
