PM: Azerbaijan to resettle over 200 families in Lachin by late 2023
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has said that people will be resettled in the liberated Lachin district till late 2023.
Asadov made the remarks while delivering the governmental report for 2022 at the plenary session of parliament on March 17, Report informs.
He noted that the opening ceremony of the first stage of the Smart Village project was held in Agali village in the Zangilan district in the presence of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva on May 27, 2022.
“At the first stage, 66 families (326 people) were resettled while as of today - 86 families (420 people). The first group of Lachin people is planned to be resettled till late 2023. Some 296 families will be resettled in Zabukh and Sus villages. The first 20 families are being resettled in Talish village these days,” he added
