Presidential rep: Restoration of several monuments in Shusha to be completed shortly

During the 30-year occupation, Shusha was subjected to destruction and vandalism. After its liberation, on the instructions of the president, restoration work is underway in the city.

According to Report, Aydin Kerimov, special representative of the Azerbaijani President in the Shusha region, made the remark at the closing ceremony of the ninth meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO of TURKSOY member countries, which was held in Shusha city.

"Almost 10 monuments have been restored in Shusha. The restoration works of other monuments will be completed in the coming days, now these works are continuing," Kerimov stressed.
