Protest on Khankendi-Lachin road underway for 60th day

Despite the frosty weather, the protest on the Khankendi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Azerbaijan's Karabakh economic region has been going on for 60 days.

Eco-activists, as in the first days of the protest, are very active, Report informs.

The protest, which began on the morning of December 12 last year, continued on the night of February 9, Report informs.

The protesters demonstrate firm will and perseverance.

They are provided with hot meals and a place to stay overnight. Safety rules are observed during the protest, no incidents were recorded at night.

Eco-activists traditionally started the day with the performance of Azerbaijan's national anthem and then patriotic songs.
