Putin to make state visit to India on December 4–5
At the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the Republic of India for a state visit on December 4–5.
According to the Kremlin press service, the visit is of special significance and will allow for discussions on a broad agenda of Russia-India relations within the framework of their strategic partnership. The talks will focus on political cooperation, trade and economic ties, scientific and technological collaboration, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, as well as current international and regional issues.
In addition to meeting with Narendra Modi, the Russian President is scheduled to hold a separate meeting with Indian President Droupadi Murmu.
Following the negotiations, a Joint Statement is expected to be adopted, along with the signing of several bilateral intergovernmental and commercial agreements, which should further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
