Qatar’s PM reveals Gaza ceasefire talks in Doha stall due to fundamental differences
Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has said that the Gaza ceasefire negotiations in Doha in recent weeks have not led anywhere because of "fundamental differences between parties".
He made these remarks at an economic forum held in Doha, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Under the theme 'The Road to 2030: Transforming the Global Economy,' the fifth edition of the Qatar Economic Forum kicked off in Doha on May 20 in collaboration with Media City Qatar. The Forum brings together a distinguished group of global leaders and influential CEOs to discuss key issues that are reshaping the global economic landscape.
This year, the Forum focuses on the profound shifts in global capital flows, especially in light of the Gulf region emerging as a major hub for financial power and foreign direct investment, supported by reforms that enhance the business environment, as well as the growing role of Gulf sovereign wealth funds as influential global financiers.
