Red Crescent Society to open offices in Azerbaijan's liberated territories
Offices of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) will open in the territories liberated from occupation, the executive secretary of the ACCP, Jeyhun has said.
Mirzayev made the remark at the extraordinary XXVI General Assembly of the society, Report informs.
According to him, within the framework of the “Great Return” project, it is planned to build offices of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society in three cities.
The official added that during the 44-day war in 2020, the Federation of the International Red Cross and the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society provided assistance to 15,160 people.
“In addition, the International Committee of the Red Cross provided assistance to 23,000 people, and TİKA – 53,000 people, for a total of 146,000 people,” he added.
On December 21, the extraordinary XXVI General Assembly of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) began its work.
About 400 delegates are taking part in the event, taking place at the International Mugham Center.
