Remains of 12 people buried en masse in Khojavand to be sent for examination
The remains of 12 people, presumably military personnel, found in the village of Edilli of Azerbaijan’s Khojavand region, will be transferred from the territory on September 5 and September 6.
The statement came from the Director of the Association of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Adalat Hasanov on October 5, Report informs.
After the om-ground inspection protocol is drawn up, forensic boxes will be brought to the area to collect the remains.
“Then the remains will be put inside the boxes along with personal belongings and numbers. Material evidence, together with the decisions of the Military Prosecutor's Office, will be transferred to the criminalistics department of the Association of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy. Upon completion of the examination, the bones and other physical evidence will be stored in special containers under special conditions,” Hasanov said.
