Russia destroys 11 Ukrainian drones over Krasnodar in fresh counterattack
Over the past two hours, Russian Armed Forces air defence systems have destroyed 11 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, the Russian Ministry of Defence said on Telegram, per Caliber.Az.
Earlier, the ministry reported that Russian air defence systems destroyed a total of 66 Ukrainian drones during last night, between 23:00 on January 7 and 07:00 on January 8. Fourteen of the drones were shot down over Crimea, 13 over the Sea of Azov, 12 over the Black Sea, 11 drones were downed over Russia’s Krasnodar region and six over Rostov region.
Five more were intercepted over the Oryol region, while two drones each were shot down over Kursk and Volgograd regions. One drone was reportedly destroyed over the Bryansk region.
