Russia detains Azerbaijani fitness trainer at Armenia's request VIDEO
On early February 21, the media and social networks reported that Azerbaijani fitness trainer Kamil Zeynalli was detained in Moscow.
Zeynalli posted a video on his Instagram account, where he said that he was detained by police at Moscow's Domodedovo airport and taken to the department, where he was told that he was detained at the request of Armenia, which had put him on an international wanted list, Caliber.Az reports citing APA.
A Moscow court is expected to make a ruling on Kamil Zeynalli on February 21, including the issue of extraditing him to Armenia.
According to the fitness trainer, he has been wanted since May last year: "This is the third time I am in Russia, but I have been detained only now. I hope for the support of our state structures. At the moment I am in the police station. I hope everything will be settled," he noted.
Caliber.Az editorial board is trying to find out the details of Zeynalli's detention from the relevant structures.
