Russia hopes 'fruitful joint efforts' with Azerbaijan to continue in 2024 Russian leaders congrats Azerbaijani president on New Year

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on New Year.

"In 2023, Russia and Azerbaijan were successful in developing their allied relations, while regular meetings between the two leaders helped achieve mutually beneficial agreements in various areas," Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian leader's greeting.

The Russian president expressed hope that these fruitful joint efforts will continue both in terms of the bilateral agenda and for building stronger peace and security in the South Caucasus and the Caspian Sea region.
