Russia unveils Ukrainian army losses

The Russian troops have destroyed six command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the "DPR" (Donetsk People's Republic), Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya districts.

"During the day, six command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit, including the 14th mechanised brigade in the Rogan region of the Kharkiv region, battalions of the 54th, 93rd and 64th mechanised brigades in the areas of Yagodnoe, Artemovsk of the 'Donetsk People's Republic' and Charivne Zaporizhzhya region, as well as manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 167 districts," Interfax quotes Russian Defence Ministry Spokesperson Igor Konashenkov as saying.

He also announced the destruction of six ammunition depots, two fuel depots and one artillery battery in the "DPR" and Zaporizhzhya region.

According to Konashenkov, Russian air defence systems shot down nine Ukrainian drones and one Vilkha multiple rocket launcher in the DPR and Kharkiv region.

The Russian Defence Ministry official stated that the Kalibr missiles in the Odesa region destroyed an ammunition depot with missiles for the American multiple launch rocket system HIMARS.

"High-precision long-range sea-based missiles Kalibr in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlement of Maiorskoye, Odesa region, destroyed an ammunition depot with missiles for American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and Western-made anti-aircraft systems," Konashenkov said.

He also noted that the strike of operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the area of Gulyai Polya, Zaporizhzhya region, destroyed the fuel depot of the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade, which stored more than a hundred tons of diesel fuel for military equipment.

"As a result of fire strikes on the positions of the 2nd battalion of the 28th mechanized brigade in the area of the village of Novogrigorovka, Mykolaiv region, as well as the 18th battalion of the 35th marine corps brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Tokarevo region of the Kherson region, the enemy's irretrievable losses amounted to more than a hundred people, as well as seven units of armoured and special vehicles," Konashenkov said.

"Two American M777 howitzers were destroyed in combat positions near the settlement of Knyazevka, Kherson region," the spokesperson said.

"In the area of the settlement of Novomikhailovka of the 'Donetsk People's Republic', as a result of fire damage to the positions of the 2nd battalion of the 66th mechanised brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, more than 30 personnel, one tank and five special vehicles were destroyed," Konashenkov said.

In total, according to the Russian ministry, during the "special operation" in Ukraine, 267 aircraft, 148 helicopters, 1,785 drones, 367 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,359 tanks and armoured vehicles, 810 MLRS combat vehicles, 3,323 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 4,984 vehicles were destroyed.
