Russian air defences repel Ukraine’s drone attack
Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed ten Ukrainian drones overnight, which targeted the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh and Rostov regions.
The Ministry of Defence said the Republic of Crimea has also been attacked, and the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down, Caliber.Az reports.
Earlier, Ukrainian drones hit Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) facility in occupied Donetsk, killing 12 and injuring 15.
Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces commander, Robert Brovdi, also known as Madyar, announced they attacked a command post.
The operation was carried out jointly by units of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces and fighters from the 1st National Guard Corps Azov.
The targeted FSB unit is described as being responsible for counterintelligence tasks, sabotage activities, special military operations, building agent networks, identifying and detaining disloyal citizens, physical elimination of opponents, and coordination with pro-Russian armed groups.
According to the statement, Ukrainian forces conducted eight precision strikes using FP-2-type systems with warheads weighing between 60 and 100 kilograms.
