Russian drone strikes forestry enterprise in Ukraine's Chernihiv, injuring security guard PHOTO
On the morning of December 11, a Russian strike drone targeted a forestry enterprise in the Nizhyn district of Ukraine’s Chernihiv region, causing a fire and injuries.
Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, stated that a 65-year-old security guard was wounded during the attack, Caliber.Az reports.
The State Emergency Service (SES) confirmed that the strike destroyed the administrative building of the forestry enterprise, though the ensuing fire was quickly brought under control. The injured guard was hospitalized in a local medical facility with moderate injuries and remains under medical supervision.
Authorities noted that in the past 24 hours, 30 shelling incidents and 97 explosions were recorded across the Chernihiv region, underscoring the continued operational activity of occupying forces in the area.
