Russian, Egyptian leaders hold phone talks over Middle East conflict surge

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi held a phone call to address the situation in the Middle East amid unprecedented conflict escalation.
The leaders emphasised the urgent need to halt hostilities and move toward a political and diplomatic resolution that considers the interests of all regional states, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Kremlin press service.
They also exchanged views on current bilateral issues, including the implementation of major investment projects in energy and industry, noting positive progress in Russian-Egyptian cooperation.
