Russian journalist proposes to attack bridges in Germany
Russian journalist Dmitry Kiselev has proposed, in response to the attack on the Crimean Bridge being discussed by German officers, to attack bridges in Germany.
“There are no such long bridges as the Crimean one in Germany, but there is also something to attack by a missile,” he said during the Vesti Nedeli (Weekly News) show, according to Gazeta.Ru.
He noted that the Fermansund road-railway bridge, the Rügen bridge, the Hohenzollern railway bridge in Cologne, as well as the Magdeburg Water Bridge may be attacked by the Zircon supersonic cruise missiles.
Kiselev added that the last construction is also significant.
Editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group Margarita Simonyan disseminated a conversation among German officers on March 1 who allegedly discussed the possibility of supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine and plans for attacks on the Crimean Bridge and ammunition depots. According to the text unveiled by Simonyan, the conversation participants were considering the options to support Kyiv for Germany not to become a direct participant in the conflict.
