Russian MFA: Unblocking of transport links crucial for Baku-Yerevan normalisation
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has said that the trilateral working group of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia continues its work aimed at unblocking economic transportation links in the region.
The process plays a crucial role in the normalisation of relations between Baku and Yerevan and contributes to unlocking the transit and logistics potential of the entire South Caucasus, Report informs.
Zakharova noted that 12 meetings of the trilateral working group have been held since the fall of 2020: "This group has done a huge amount of work in assessing the current state of the regional logistics infrastructure, selecting optimal projects of railway and road communications, thanks to which it was possible to come close to reaching a package solution beneficial to all parties."
