Russian peacekeepers spotted looting in Azerbaijan's Lachin Exclusive video footage by Caliber.Az
Exclusive footage showing what the Russian peacekeepers are doing in the Lachin corridor of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region was made available to the editorial staff of Caliber.Az.
The Russian military, for example, demolished the roof of a one-storey residential building in [liberated] Lachin District's Garakaha village, which was inhabited solely by Azerbaijanis prior to the [Armenian] occupation in 1992. They do not disdain not only slate but also wooden structures, which were loaded into a KAMAZ vehicle bearing a Russian flag and the inscription Peacekeeping Forces.
It is noteworthy that the "security of the daring special operation to deroof the building" of the marauders is provided by the armoured personnel carrier 82A standing on their armament.
A number of questions arise in relation to this case. What are the Russian peacekeepers' objectives? Why, instead of carrying out their direct responsibilities, which they frequently fail to do (for example, by turning the Lachin corridor into a sieve through which destructive elements from Armenia seep into Azerbaijan's Karabakh region), did they become like the same Karabakh separatists who literally left no stone unturned in previously occupied territories? Or, perhaps, they decided to profit at the expense of someone else's property because they realised they would soon leave this site in their temporary zone of responsibility?
