“Secret police” unveiled within Armenian ruling party Pashinyan's shadow network
Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan orchestrated a “secret police” within his party, alongside informal groups within the ruling party that possess the ability to denounce fellow members or officials, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Yerevan-based Hraparak newspaper.
“In addition to party units within the ruling party of Armenia, there are informal groups that can denounce party members or officials. Through these groups, criminal cases were initiated against many people, many people were dismissed and so on,” the article says.
According to the newspaper, party members are dissatisfied with the fact that in addition to the official bodies, informants are also working against them - a system created by Pashinyan. “For example, the situation that arose around [Minister of Economy] Vahan Kerobyan also started from the feed of this informal body. Within Pashinyan's party, there are uncertainties about the members of this group, and various names, including Artur Hovhannisyan, Hayk Konjoryan, Gevorg Papoyan, Arpi Davoyan, Andranik Kocharyan, Arayik Harutyunyan and others in the government, are being mentioned."
