Security forces nab 2 FETO terror suspects trying to enter Türkiye illegally

Turkish security forces arrested two people while they were trying to enter Türkiye from Greece illegally, authorities said on April 8.

An investigation confirmed that the two people were FETO members, Anadolu reports, citing the National Defence Ministry.

FETO orchestrated the July 15, 2016 defeated coup in Türkiye in which 251 people were killed and 2,734 injured.

Ankara accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions; particularly the military, police and judiciary.
