Magnitude 4.4 earthquake strikes southern Türkiye

A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck southern Türkiye on June 3, according to the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The tremor was recorded at 1:12 p.m. local time in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş Province, AFAD said, Caliber.Az reports.

The earthquake's epicentre was located at a depth of approximately 12.46 kilometres, according to preliminary data released by the agency.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage following the quake.
