Selective abortions increase significantly in Armenia after 44-day war

The number of selective abortions in Karabakh and Armenia has significantly increased after the 44-day war.

According to news.am, Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesian stated this at a meeting of the Armenian Parliament during the government hour, answering MPs' questions.

Before the war, according to Avanesyan, Armenia had a fairly good record.

“We may need to tighten restrictions. But to a certain extent. After all, bans alone will not give the desired result,” the minister said.
