At least seven people, including two children, have been injured following a Russian strike on Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, according to regional authorities.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said the number of casualties had risen during the day after the morning attack, Caliber.Az reports.
“There are already seven wounded, including two children: the number of casualties from this morning’s Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia is rising. Five women and two children—a three-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy—required medical assistance,” Fedorov wrote on Telegram.
Local officials said medical teams were providing assistance to the injured, though no further details were immediately released about the extent of their injuries or the location of the strike.
