Seven more companies to be granted status of Aghdam Industrial Park residents

Seven more companies will be granted the status of Aghdam Industrial Park residents by late October 2022.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Agency for Industrial Zone Development Elkhan Shiriyev made the remarks in an interview with Trend on October 26.

According to him, these companies intend to operate in metallurgy, wallpaper production, roofing, building materials, and other fields.

"We have familiarised ourselves with their business plans, they fully comply with the requirements of the industrial park, and it is planned to assign them the status of an Aghdam Industrial Park resident by the end of October," Shiriyev said.

He added that one resident will be registered in the Araz Economic Valley zone.

"This entrepreneur will start a detergent manufacturing company. We expect to assign resident status to this company as well by the beginning of November," the board's deputy chairman said.
