Shusha resettlement continues: 21 families head back to native lands
Another migration caravan with former Azerbaijani IDPs left for the town of Shusha.
According to Report, families, previously temporarily settled in hostels, sanatoriums, children's camps, as well as unfinished and administrative buildings in different districts of the country, left for their native lands from the Garadagh district of Baku on June 12.
At this stage, 21 families (85 people) travelled to Shusha.
As a result of the brilliant victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 under the leadership of President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the former IDPs now have the opportunity to return to their homeland voluntarily, safely and with dignity after 30 years.
Residents of Shusha city expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev state and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for all-round state care, thanked the brave Azerbaijani Army for the liberation of our lands from occupation, wished repose to the souls of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this high goal.
