Six new enterprises set to launch in Aghdam industrial park by year-end
Six additional enterprises are slated to commence operations in Aghdam Industrial Park by the end of this year, according to Alakbar Mammadov, Head of the Main Department for Karabakh Territorial Taxes of the State Tax Service.
Speaking to Report, Mammadov highlighted the significant growth within the industrial park. Currently, 27 enterprises are registered in the park, comprising 21 residents and 6 non-residents. The collective investment for these projects amounts to AZN 195.5 million.
"One enterprise has already started working this year, and six more are expected to open soon. Additionally, there are 10 more applications under consideration, with six applicants likely to receive resident status in the near future," Mammadov stated.
Meanwhile, highlighting the increasing investment in the region, Mammadov noted that nine more enterprises seek residency in East Zangazur economic region.
"Interest in the East Zangazur economic region continues to grow as nine more enterprises have applied for residency status," he said.
As of today, 11 enterprises are registered in the East Zangazur economic region, with 10 classified as residents and one as a non-resident. The total investment for these projects amounts to 68 million manats, and they are expected to create 708 jobs. Currently, one enterprise is operational, and two more are slated to commence operations later this year.
"We have received nine additional applications from enterprises seeking resident status in the East Zangazur economic region," Mammadov underlined.
