Spain deploys Сrow counter-drone systems in Lithuania

Spain has deployed Crow systems in Lithuania designed to detect, monitor, and neutralise hostile drones.

The Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence announced the development on its X page, the systems have been installed at the Šiauliai air base and are operated by the “Wolf” tactical aviation unit of the Spanish Air and Space Force, per Caliber.Az.

A team of nine service members monitors the assigned airspace around the clock, protecting NATO’s eastern flank from unidentified drones and aerial balloons.

The Crow system integrates radars, cameras, sensors, and electronic warfare tools, creating a “smart shield” to protect critical infrastructure, airports, and military facilities.
