Tehran declares retaliation will continue until Israel pays the price
Iran will only cease its strikes against Israel once the country has been “punished” and reparations have been paid, according to a statement from Tehran’s Supreme National Security Council.
The warning was issued by Iran’s official news agency on June 19, Caliber.Az reports.
“Retaliation will continue until the enemy is punished and reparations are paid,” the council declared.
As of June 2025, tensions between Iran and Israel have reached a critical level following a direct exchange of military strikes.
Thus, on June 13, Israel launched extensive air raids targeting sites linked to Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure, including facilities in Natanz and Fordow, as well as Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) positions.
