Three Armenian footballers who mocked Azerbaijani flag detained at Lachin border ckeckpoint VIDEO

Three players of the so-called “Martuni Avo” football club have been detained at the Lachin border checkpoint.

A reminder that back in 2021, some media outlets and various pages on social networks disseminated video recordings in which Armenian football players committed insulting actions against the flag of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

According to the information, the detainees stated that they are very sorry for what happened.

Caliber.Az sources say that Azerbaijan will show humanity, and taking into account the fact that the detainees are young footballers, they will be kept in custody for ten days.

It should be noted that Baku has already hinted at the possibility of amnesty for those who did not commit war crimes. After serving their sentences, these grief-stricken athletes will be deported to Armenia.
