Trump lands in Riyadh, kicking off four-day Gulf trip VIDEO
U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Saudi Arabia on May 13 morning, launching a four-day tour of the Gulf region that prioritises economic cooperation over security concerns.
The visit comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing conflict in Gaza and growing fears of escalation surrounding Iran's nuclear program, Caliber.Az reports, citing Arab media.

Accompanied by a high-powered delegation of American business leaders—including Tesla CEO and Trump adviser Elon Musk—President Trump will attend the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum in Riyadh before continuing on to Qatar on May 14 and the United Arab Emirates on May 15.
According to White House officials, the focus of the trip is to boost trade and investment ties with Gulf nations, even as crises in the region remain unresolved. The Trump administration is also proposing a new aid mechanism for Gaza and has renewed calls for a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
In a potential diplomatic turn, Trump has said he may travel to Türkiye on May 15 for direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, aimed at advancing peace efforts in the Ukraine conflict.
