Trump's special envoy said to land in Moscow, but Kremlin denies
A Gulfstream G650ER aircraft, which is said to have carried US President Donald Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, landed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport on February 11.
The flight's departure and arrival locations are unavailable, but the flight path on the service’s map shows the aircraft departed from Washington and, at approximately 10:17 local time, was near Vnukovo airport, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Witkoff, according to American bloggers, is one of Trump's closest allies and is responsible for negotiating the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
However, the information was later denied by Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He pointed out that the Kremlin had no information about the said visit, despite the previously noted intensification of bilateral contacts between Moscow and Washington.
